Welcome to my corner of the cybersecurity world! I'm Christian Martorella, a security leader, researcher, and lifelong learner with a passion for building robust security solutions that scale.

With over 25 years in the cybersecurity trenches, I've had the privilege of protecting some of the world's most dynamic platforms, and 3 of the top European Unicorns and Decacorn 🦄 (Skype, Skyscanner and Miro). Currently, as Head of Product Security at Miro, I'm leading security initiatives that safeguard millions of users' collaborative work covering Products Security end to end (Application Security, Cloud Security and. Detection and Response). Previously, I served as CISO at Skyscanner and Principal Program Manager at Microsoft's and Skype where I helped secure platforms serving hundreds of millions of users.

Why I Write

Throughout my journey from hands-on security researcher to executive leadership, I've learned that the most valuable insights often come from the intersection of technical expertise and business strategy. This newsletter is my way of sharing these insights with you.
